The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Line of Events
Uncover the secret of a town in the center of the United States that imprisons anyone who enters. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, they must also survive threats from the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history, and many years ago housed housing units, a community center, fire station, school, church, grocery store, etc.
Entering a distant tree, Boyd finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved streets and driveways were all that remained, and the mock town was built upon them. A rope is lowered to him (presumably) by Martin in the room above, though his wrists are bound.

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans and performed by The Pixies. Even though there are still too many unanswered questions and season 2 wasn’t quite as good as season 1, it’s still worth watching. Overall, From is every bit as good as the hype surrounding the book.
It was definitely way better than anything I expected
Even though there is horror and some gore, this show is so much more than just a horror show. I know it’s been compared to Lost in a lot of reviews, and while it’s nowhere near as good as that show, I can see where the comparison came from. It’s a very clever show that holds a lot of unknowns and mystery.
I just started season two, and while it’s not quite as good, it’s still entertaining
Every answer we get just raises more questions, and I worry there will be more questions than answers, but so far the show has been fun to watch.
