Line of Events
After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. Lupita Nyong’o joins writer-director Chris Sanders to talk about notable credits and their time making The Wild Robot together. According to author Peter Brown, the inspiration for “The Wild Robot” came from a sketch he made of a robot in a tree.

It has a wonderful message of tolerance and unity. The voice acting is delightful. The animation is very good, sometimes stunning.
But it is nice to dream
I liked the story, although I can see some people finding it too sentimental or cheesy. In a world so divided and in a country that seems hopelessly divided, it is very comforting to experience a story of characters coming together, being able to accept their differences and building a community. Unfortunately, that is what makes it fiction too. The fact that the title character, and the character who inspires all the change, is the ultimate “other” only serves to make the argument more elegant.
I love this movie
