After witnessing disease and poverty in the slums of New York, Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini embarks on a daring journey to convince the hostile mayor to provide housing and medical care for hundreds of orphaned children. This is an order, some of which were over ninety. It is reported that by the end of the film, many of them were crying, and some exclaimed: “It’s Cabrini!”. Archbishop Corrigan was not the son of poor, working-class Irish immigrants in New York.

Corrigan was born in New Jersey to a family of Irish immigrants who owned a grocery and liquor retailer in Newark and were prosperous. Not both.. Featured in Glenn Beck’s program: Is 'Cabrini' The BEST Christian film since The Passion of the Christ? (2024).
THIS STORY WAS SO AWESOME
Dare To Be performed by Andrea Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli. Well, I accidentally stumbled upon this movie and ticket. So I just decided to go and watch it one Thursday evening. I should also start by saying that I am not interested in religious films, but I am always a fan of good female heroines.
And the quality of the actors and background
thank God. I couldn’t stand 2 hours of a crappy Hallmark movie. Thank you to those who have ever funded this! I walked in feeling so inspired and in love with Cabrini, and I loved seeing New York as it once was.
I recommend them!
I appreciated that God was silent in the film. It was an era & the hero of the film, which will be liked by anyone.
